Quality Improvement

There are six options in the quality improvement domain, worth up to a maximum of 10 marks.

Types of QI

The QI project might be a new project or the development of an existing project. Clinical audits are included, but only some use the methodology of QI. Those that do not follow Plan Do Study Act cycles can score no more than two marks in this domain.

Presentation of quality improvement must be included under this domain.

Only one QI option may be selected – so a candidate should select their highest-scoring project.
